Looney takes Idaho State job

Point Loma coach Ryan Looney takes the Idaho State job, congrats on getting a D-1 job. I'm from Idaho and this is a brutal job, I think Looney might be up to the task, however. They play in a bad football stadium and a very small gym, deep losing tradition. They've fired every hoop coach for the past 30+ years, maybe 40. It's a tough gig, but Looney has won at every place, so maybe he's up for this post.

I think Looney has a good shot as anyone, if not better of doing good work @ ISU. Can't help but wonder though... San Diego to Pocatello???? It will be interesting to see what Hommes does...

Yeah, I couldn't trade San Diego for Pocatello, never. If Looney can win consistently at ISU he should get national coach of the year ... and then take a better job.
