CWU Opens Season with 2 losses to SPU

Great to see CWU back in action. David Thompson scored 29 on Friday and 20 on Saturday. The Santa Clara transfer will be a major asset for the next season-plus. Matt Poquette was a perfect 8/8 shooting with 20 points on Friday and added 10 more on Saturday and he should be a star player for the next couple of seasons. Xavier Smith and Marqus Gilson also looking good. Pretty good effort for a team who faced their first opponent vs. a team who had 8 games already played before Friday's game.
