Very sad news as former CWU soccer defender Bryn Waite was found dead washed up on the beach in La Jolla. The coroner's office is determining a cause of death and if it is ruled a homicide to San Diego county sheriff's office will investigate it. Waite is originally from Anchorage and graduated in 2021. She was living with her fiance in San Diego.
Certainly a lot of questions that I don't think need to wait for the corner. What was she doing in the water to begin with? Boating? Swimming? Paddleboarding? Was she by herself or with anyone? Who last spoke to her?
