Week 1 is in the books! I'm sure a flurry of roster moves will be happening this week given our general lack of scoring, so it should be a fun week! Here is the link to the spreadsheet to see all the details: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
Let's get in to our week 1 results!
Fro-th_and_goal - 143.95
gr8ness97 - 97.2
The newcomer came in and put up the top score of the week, upending a perennial contender. Fro was the only person to not only have everyone in his starting lineup score in double digits, but had everyone on his ROSTER score in double digits. His top performers were his QB's, who both scored exactly 32.35 points lol. He also got 29.6 points from TJ Cole, and both his starting wide receivers scored over 26 points. gr8 got one of the best QB performances of the week with 41.8 points from Braden Gleason, but couldn't counter the low scores elsewhere in his starting lineup.
Wayne Cavadi - 104.6
Mule Man - 64.00
I have no history for this, but I have to think this might be MM's worst scoring performance of his career. Wayne, our other newbie, also is victorious in week 1, behind 47.7 points from QB Tyson Bagent, the top score of any player this week in the league. He also had the highest-scoring WR in Shepherd teammate Ryan Beach, with 30.2 points. MM got 22.4 points from QB Ivory Durham, but nobody else cleared the 20-point mark. Both teams had a 0 in their starting lineup.
Runnin' Cat - 105.1
mountaineermagic - 87.85
mountaineer, unfortunately, got a DNP from #1 overall pick Josh Cummings, and it spelled disaster, as it was one of two zeroes in his starting lineup. RC got 36.9 points from Kendel Givens and 29.4 points from Keilhan Harris to lead the way to victory.
KleShreen - 108.1
JavsFan - 89.9
I got bailed out by 47.3 points from my "backup" QB Demilon Brown, and 20+ points from each of my RB's, despite getting a 0 from one of my starters. The top RB scorer of the week, Emanuel Wilson, scored 40.4 points on my bench. JavsFan didn't have anyone clear the 23-point mark, and took a zero in his starting lineup.

As a reminder for everyone, since this is going to be our biggest roster transaction week of the season: Please try and get your moves in early this week, and don't post your lineup until you are done making moves and the changes have been made in the rosters below. I don't want to run in to a situation where someone makes a late move just before our lineup deadline, and then it isn't reflected here first. So try and get your roster moves in on Monday/Tuesday, and then get your lineup posted on Wednesday/early Thursday. Thank you!
First D-II game of the week is Thursday at 7 PM Eastern, so the deadline to submit your lineup is THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH, AT 6 PM EASTERN. Failure to submit your lineup by then will result in your week 1 lineup carrying over for points purposes, but an automatic loss in the standings regardless of your score.
