What a week.
For all the wrong reasons, for me. lol
First off, here's the link to the spreadsheet. New this year, is I'm using the same spreadsheet linked here to do all the scoring. I'm not uploading new sheets every week. So if you're lucky, you can actually catch me doing the scoring live if you visit the sheet and go to the week's scoring tab late Saturday night/early Sunday morning! Haha

So let's get to the little recap, which was chock full of awful D2 fantasy league records!
gr8ness97 - 117.75
Runnin' Cat - 78.4
gr8 rode a well-rounded performance for his starters, led by QB Braden Gleason's 33.35 points and three starters over 21 points, to take the victory over RC, who had a bit too many single-digit scores. He got three starters in single digit, and RB Omari Land's 30.4 points wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Even if he started QB TJ Davis and his 36.1 points, he would have fallen short.

JavsFan - 100.7
The first of our two new guys now sitting at 2-0, and our current leader of the league, Fro had five of his six starters score over 20 points, and his sixth was at 15.7. One of the most consistent performances the league has seen. His starting RB's led the way, with Shomari Mason scoring 27.7 points and TJ Cole scoring 27.4. Javs, unfortunately, got one of the worst games from the Mary offense that they've had since 2020. Logan Nelson only put up 6.9 points and Danny Kittner had 14.5 points. He took a zero at one of his WR spots, but also had the highest-scoring WR of the week with Duane Brown's 33.1 points. His RB's were solid, with Jariq Scales (25.8) and Melvin Blanks (20.4) both clearing the 20-point mark.
Mule Man - 150.4
mountaineermagic - 98.35
MM put up the highest point total of the week, led by QB Ivory Durham's 50 points, the most by a QB this week. He also got a huge 51.5-point performance from RB Ronnie Brown, and those two alone were enough to score the victory for MM. mountaineer is still trying to weather the storm with Josh Cummings out, but wasn't unable to this week. He did get 29 points from RB Adrian Soto, but had two starters in single digits. That, paired with the two huge scores from MM, spelled a loss this week.
Wayne Cavadi - 73.15
KleShreen - 37.35
Wayne and I made history, as we set the league record for the least amount of combined points in a match-up. I also had the third-lowest score all time. I would like to say there should be an asterisk by each of these "records" though, as the culprit of such notoriety was the Allen vs Johnson C. Smith game being declared a no contest at halftime due to lightning, which eliminated two of my starters from scoring points. Wayne got the dub, despite benching RB Jada Byers and his 55.9 points, the highest individual score of the week. My lineup looked like a disaster. Jamal Jones and Brevin Caldwell were victims of the no-contest game, and Laurence King didn't play in Chowan's game, so I took three zeroes in the starting lineup. Additionally, my two RB's both were in single digits for scoring. QB Demilon Brown and his 24.85 points were actually the most of any of the starters in this match-up, but obviously it wasn't enough. Clearly. Pain.
That makes our standings look like this, where the only two 2-0 players are the two new participants!

So what we'll do this week is that you will not be able to pick up players for Thursday or Friday's games beginning Thursday at 7 PM Eastern. But lineups will be due prior to the first game on Friday at 7 PM Eastern. Therefore, LINEUPS ARE DUE BY 6 P.M. EASTERN ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH.
