We're in the penultimate week of the season! We have completed the first round of the playoffs, and we roll on to the semifinals. PLEASE REMEMBER - IF YOU LOST, YOU ARE STILL PLAYING. EVERYONE PLAYS THROUGH THE WHOLE SEASON. PLEASE SUBMIT A LINEUP.

And here is what our first round playoff results looked like:
#1 Mule Man - 199.35
#8 mountaineermagic - 82.7
MM was just a freight train in the first round, using the highest QB score of the week to drive himself to victory. Concord QB Jack Mangel threw 7 touchdown passes en route to 361 yards passing to score 59.75 points. MM compounded that spectacular performance with 43.6 points from RB Abel Carter (243 yards/3 TD), 36.6 points from RB Mario Anderson (171 yards/3 TD), and 30.9 points from RB Ronnie Brown (120 yards/2 TD). Hard to find a week where you'll get 30.3 points from your RB on the bench, and he still was in his rightful spot on the bench, as Michael Zeman had. For mountaineer, he got 27.8 points from RB Jaxton Carson (98 yards/3 TD) and 21.5 points from WR Hasaan Williams (6 rec/64 yards/2 TD), but the rest of his starters failed to reach the 12-point mark, as QB Karst Hunter (37.8 points) and WR MJ Link (28.4 points) sat on the bench, but it wouldn't have made a difference. MM couldn't be stopped this week.

#7 Runnin' Cat - 67.85
We had a similar situation in the 2/7 matchup, as I was fortunate enough to have both the high RB scorer of the week in Jordan Terrell with 54.2 points (302 yards/4 TD) as well as the high WR scorer of the week in Mangel's teammate, Jarod Bowie, with 48.4 points (9 rec/259 yards/3 TD). I also got 31.1 points from RB Emanuel Wilson (119 yards/2 TD rushing, 4 rec/52 yards). I could have surpassed the 200-point mark had I started QB Gage Porter, who "threw" up 59.25 points on the bench with 188 yards and 5 TD's on the ground. There wasn't much RC could do in this one. He got 27.5 points from RB Omari Land (125 yards/2 TD), but had three starters score below 5 points, including a DNP from Tre'Jon Henderson.
#6 gr8ness97 - 101.85
#3 Wayne Cavadi - 98.2
Our biggest upset of the first round happened here, as wily D2 fantasy vet gr8ness97 escaped with a tight victory, led by QB Braden Gleason's 40.55 points (297 yards/4 TD passing). Wayne was able to match that output at QB with his own 47.1-point performance from Tyson Bagent (310 yards/5 TD passing), but it was the rest of the starters that made the difference. Wayne had two starters under 8 points, and his second-highest scorer was WR Josh Johnston's 17.6 points. gr8 had only one player under 8 points, and had a second-highest scorer of 18.6 points with WR Marquis Gray.

We also had a mild upset in the 4/5 matchup, as Fro rode 34.7 points from RB TJ Cole (103 yards/3 TD, 1 catch/59 yards) and 32.2 points from QB Jayden Johannsen (308 yards/2 TD/1 INT, 78 yards rushing) on the way to victory, as he had only one starter under 13 points on the weekend. Javs could only find one 30+ point performance, as WR Duane Brown put up 36.5 points (10 catches/195 yards/2 TD), and his second-highest score was only 21.85 from QB Turner Pullen, which was the difference in the matchup. I think Fro just wanted a rematch with me from when he didn't submit a lineup in time, and he just gave me that free win so he could set up this matchup where he'll destroy me.
