Polls don't mean anything. They should just let them play it out on the field. - Said most people unhappy with where their team is.

Incredible to think that a MoWest team picked to finish 9th in the MIAA still receives votes.

Only 4 teams from the conference did not receive votes.

Was this before or after HSU's announcement with them receiving votes? They lost more players last month due to that, but I'd love it if they could have a good season with all the administration has done to them.

Same thing over and over again. Team leaves the GLIAC for another conference, they're in the playoffs within a couple years.

You could break up the GLIAC entirely right now and put one team in each D-II conference in the country and they'll all be in the playoffs within three years.

True for Mercyhurst. Last year in GLIAC in 2007, made only appearance in playoffs in 2010, third year in the PSAC.
                    Not true for Gannon.

                      preach it brother!

I dont even know why they let in any team from Region 1, the lsc, rmac, gac, glvc, or the gnac.

GLIAC champ should get an auto bid to the championship game. Everyone else should go through the pos.

even better the top 8 Gliac teams vs the top 4 miaa teams, and 4 at larges, not from region 1, lsc, rmac, gnac, glvc, or gac( all garbage conferences that would be owned by the lowest GLIAC team.) This will allow for the distant possibility that there MIGHT be a team from another conference that MIGHT be able to get lucky enough to beat one of the lower teams in the GLIAC.

If by some miracle a non GLIAC team wins it all we would know they are legit cause they would have to played several legit teams from the strongest conference in D2 and not just get lucky playing weak teams from weak conferences.

It really is complete bunk that 1 GLIAC team has been able to play in a nc game in the last decade. if the other teams had to play a GLIAC schedule they wouldnt survive the season.
