    Re: d2football.com All American team

One I'd add from the team I follow is "Big Sky" Lacy the senior OG at U Indy. Heard Ball State coaches giving him props. He's a main component in the rushing success of all region Al McKeller and they were a top 5 in pass protection last year too. Not saying a guy from the team I follow belongs on the this list every year but I'd say U Indy will have two consecutive OLs continue in the Pros - following Holcomb this year should be Lacy next.

Lacy was listed as a grad senior last year on the All-GLVC team and was 2nd team. I put together names in the spring and figured he was gone since that is how he was listed on the GLVC release.

It would not shock me if every OL on the 1st and 2nd team ended up having a good enough year to get a NFL look either in 2019 or 2020 (for the juniors). There are a lot of good OL in D2 this year. Might not be 2-3 drafted but could see 1 drafted with 5-7 signing as PFAs.

Thanks for all your comments on him and understand what you are saying: Players listed by academic and not athletic eligibility. Checked and Lacy graduated early and has this year's athletic eligibility.

I won't bore you with stats, but I would think that two players who deserve consideration are Hillsdale's QB, Senior Chance Stewart, who at 6'6" and 250, or so, who was originally a BIG10 recruit. Then there is Senior Tray Brock, a 6' 3" receiver who was one of the best in the nation last year and has already drawn the interest of NFL scouts. Both are primed this year with a decent offensive line and many return starters on defense. Lot's of good players on the pre-season list.

Very surprised Barrett Reiner from Southern Arkansas is not on this list.

I checked and see him on 2018 roster. I'll put him on my watch list.

Hall and Bolles fans would be equally surprised had they not shown up as well.

I'm glad to see Harry Satterwhite not on any list. I think he will shake things up this year, more than some of the above.

Surprised that Senior WR Cory Contini 6'1, 195, from Ohio Dominican was not mentioned on the list. In 2017 he had 72 receptions, 1186 yards, and 14 TDs. Also career numbers are 147 receptions for 2289 yards and 22 TDs. He is drawing attention from NFL scouts.

So many good QBs. Hard to name them all.
