For those unfamiliar with GSC & Valdosta State football, Coach David Dean won two national championships at VSU and left after he got a D1 offer that he could not refuse. Things didn't work out, so two years later the West Georgia job became available and he got it. Now he's coaching our in state rivals.
BTW VSU ended up hiring Coach Kerwin Bell, a former University of Florida qb that has turned into a really good coach. His offense is high scoring and the talent level seems elevated, for example the top two players in every statistical category (except kicking) are either a freshman or sophomore.
