Fan1 paralyzed in car crash

Scott Schindler of Hutchinson MN was paralyzed from the neck down when a car crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle. His D2 handle is Fan1- his son played for the MSU-Mankato Mavs. I got permission from his daughter Brittany to put is on here.

My cousin had a long talk with him about a week before it happened. Your life can change in an instant.

I don't know if you were able to read the story on his Caring Bridge site- he developed pneumonia but seems to be getting better. Quite an rocky road for him and his two children.

Ugh. So so sad. Witt was just talking about "board brothers" last week on the NSIC board. It's stuff like this that makes the board feel much more than group of anonymous posters behind an avatar. We are human beings with a unique passion. Prayers for Scott and his family.
