In what world is WT a top 30 team? What makes CWU a top 25 team when they lost to same WT squad at home badly. Only winning team the beat is AZUSA. AFCA is name recognition list.
I have fat thumbs sorry for typos!

As has been discussed ad naseum, this poll is voted on by the coaches. It is meaningless, and perhaps has the only real purpose of garnering myopic and biased discussion from fans of team that feel slighted.

And as has been pointed out before, the proof of the transitive property within the college football world has not been established

The purpose is getting a few extra stories in regional news media.

Transitive property has nothing to do with my observations, WT is not a good football team, they will likely finish 5-6, likewise CWU is not a good team this year, their wins aside from AZUSA are over teams that have 0, 1, or 2 wins in D2 and most of those wins are over each other. When the season ends CWU is very likely to have a 9-1 d2 record and when you add the their opponents wins up of the teams they beat it might not add up to 15! If you include WT thats 19 wins for your opponents on your schedule.
And of those wins of your opponents only 1 will be vs a team with a winning record, WT over CWU.

There is alot of bad football in there.

So a team should be punished for winning games? You can only play the teams on your schedule.

Have you seen a CWU game? Aside from WTAMU?

Central Washingtons opponents this season are likely to finish the season d2 games only
                  Western Oregon 5-6 wx2
                  Humbolt St. 2-8 wx2
                  Simon Fraser 0-9 wx2
                  Azusa 7-3 wx2
                  WT 5-6 L
                  SBU. 0-10 W

3 wins vs teams with 0 d2 wins
2 wins vs 1 team +.500 but most of those are vs the same winnless teams CWU has beaten
4 wins vs teams sub .500
1 loss to sub .500 team ooc.

Yes they can only play their schedule, but they should not be rewarded for a crappy schedule. Surely with that resume its safe to say they are ranked to high.

They have beaten teams that will have a combined win total of 14 by the end of the season. 7 wins vs teams with 7 wins between them.

28-26 is badly? What do you define as a close loss, 1 pt only?

They have an average spread of 31+ points in all of their D2 games. Yes, the teams they play have not been winning. That doesn't mean they are a bad team or not rankable.

I will also take the lack of an answer to the question about if you had seen them play. I also put some stock into the D2Football poll. I think CWU will get into the playoffs, if they win out, and they can make a run in the playoffs. While their D is down from last year, the offense is much improved. They can pound the ball and that helps come playoff time.

And you are picking TAMUK to bet WTAMU?

Loosing to WT was bad, WT controlled the game from the start, the only time they trailed was after CWU first score and thats because WT couldnt get an extra point to save their lives(1-4 for the game).

CWU turned the ball over twice.

If WT was better that game at their xps its a 5 point swing in their favor and the score is 33-24 with 7 of CWUs points comming in garbage time.

Yet ENMU fans argued just today that despite being down something like 31-0 at halftime to Mesa, they are only a few plays away from only having 1 loss? I guess if those few plays are every scoring play for the opposition you have a point...

lol GVSU dropped a spot in the poll even though they beat a team that was receiving votes last week (and is still receiving votes).

I think Tarleton in front makes sense with being undefeated and dominating their entire schedule. I know the GV loss was close and a great game to a great opponent, but still a loss I guess.
