    And I can also cite many examples of football being cut to make decisions easier on administrators. Heck, most of the west coast schools mentioned in this thread were just that.

    Again, it's school specific.

    I also feel the need to point out that many times starting football is no drain at all on other sports. No absolutes.

        Insurance and risk management are the biggest threats to college (and high school) football. All we are waiting for is a $50 million class action judgment against ABC University for a CTE claim and the final whistle will sound for all shortly thereafter.

        It is coming.
