The school that I played at called off the season because of lack of numbers about this time a year ago. Later Ridgewater dropped the sport after a study. It was a sad day.

First thought when I saw the title of the thread was how could a school that costs a bajillion dollars to attend and has an endowment of $2 billion be in enough financial trouble to drop football. Then I read the article........

Strange though that they had only 39 on the roster to begin with. Would imagine it is hard to operate with a roster that small. Wonder if the kids will be granted any extra eligibility.
