This makes it sound like GV doesn't routinely do this. They've been probably the top team in the country for scheduling the best non-conference competition over the last 10 years or so.

I gotta be honest...this doesn't exactly look like being the top team in the country for scheduling OOC games as Kle argued. I understand they're tough to get as a solid program, especially when surrounded by conferences with no OOC dates. I mean Pueblo's OOC schedule the last few years has been tougher though and I doubt they have had the toughest. West Texas for several years, Angelo State, Sam Houston, Commerce...

At first I was like are we really going to make a competition out of this but I'm in. Who over the past ten years has had the toughest OOC schedule?

Grand Valley's OOC schedule would be better if they'd just move up...

LOL, I'd say the GSC schools would not qualify because the teams all play two or three of SAIC, CIAA & SAC schools. Of that ~ 30 team pool, maybe 5 would be ranked at game time. For a few years there we were playing some LSC schools, those were some great games.

Come to think of it Albany State plays VSU, UWG & the assorted SAC team every year, that's pretty tough. I nominate ASU to be among the teams considered.
