  • If it makes you feel better, Duke lost again to an unranked team. Not sure how much that will help though seeing another Top 10 team go down. Last Saturday was brutal though for the top 4 with the only reason #3 won was because they played #1 to claim #1.

    • Merrimack is going to win their conference but can't be in the NCAA or NIT until 2024. Seems like a harsh restriction for a team moving up.

      • The team that beat Baylor in the first game of the year and many were pegging as a Final Four contender just got swept on the season tonight by the Cougs. Oh how the Fuskies have fallen as they finish last in the Pac-12. Meanwhile UCLA and Arizona State have surprised all and moved ahead of Arizona in the standings behind Colorado and Oregon.

        • The Gophers couldn't find their own butt from the free throw line as they blow another game to the Bad-gers 71-69.

I was at the Gopher women's game today. Left at the end of the third. I just don't do that but they were behind by 50 and scoring 5 points a quarter. Maryland called off the dogs.

Both teams will be luck to make the NIT. Good thing that they don't have the must have at least a .500 record rule anymore.

The Huskers shot 27% from the FT line yesterday. 27%! How does that happen?!? They shot 37% from the 3!

NU is the only team since at least the 2010-11 season with a minimum of 30 free-throw attempts in a game to shoot worse than 30% at the line.

Hard core Gopher fans are now blaming Brenda Frese for running up the score and leaving her starters in the whole way. 9 players got at least 15 minutes in so I posted the box score for an answer. Why can't fans just admit it when their team sucks? They played with no hustle and yes they did give up. It was embarrassing to be there on the home floor.

Because most are delusional and living in the 40s/50s/60s glory days for sports. Gopher fans are some of the worst in the country, they can be unbearable like some of the truly hated fan bases nationally. They for some reason think their teams are relevant in all sports, despite the constant losing.

                • Has a D1 team ever done this. Apparently Chicago State Men and Women basketball teams are refusing to play against conference teams in Washington or Utah due to the Corona Virus being present in Washington. They're also considering sitting out the Conference tournament in Vegas. Not like they would win anything as both teams are at the bottom of the conference..

Wow. I wonder how much longer CSU will stay in the WAC. Bottom dwellers athletically, trying to recover from enrollment problems and now this.

The WAC should give Seattle and Utah Valley forfeit wins over Chicago State (as well as their first round WAC tournament opponents if they don't attend the tournament). Also, Chicago State is struggling as a school and should highly consider dropping down to D2 or NAIA. Nobody else has complained about playing any other Washington schools

Do they realize how far Spokane is from Seattle? Western states are much larger than those in the East and the drive is over 4 hours if they wouldn't be willing to play Gonzaga in the tournament for example. My city hasn't had any cases and I'm not really worried as Seattle again is about 4-5 hours away. For Utah, most of the teams are in the Salt Lake City area so it makes more sense, but Dixie State is over an hour away. The virus has also been found in Oregon and a Middle School gym has been closed down.

Pac-12 teams of course are still playing the cellar dwelling Fuskies in Seattle as an example. Also remember, Spokane is host to 1st and 2nd round games this year.

                            • Seems so early.

Boise State women beat Fresno State 80-76 in OT in the MWC title game, head to the NCAA tourney for the fourth straight year.

And their men beat UNLV in the men's tournament, the only team to beat San Diego State so far.
