      What hurt lindenwood more was the fact their OOC opponents had bad seasons.

        It should matter.

        Get this.

        Lindenwood is 5-0 against teams with a .500 or better record. Their loss to Midwestern State earlier in the year does not count because MSU is 4-5. However, if Midwestern were to beat West Texas this weekend, MSU would be 5-0 and Lindenwood's record against .500 or better teams would change to 5-1. So while there would be a slight hit in the OWP if Midwestern lost, Lindenwood actually benefits in another category with that loss.

        Teams should not benefit from past opponents losing.
