Interesting to see Findlay listed that high considering their stadium situation, even if it is gross income and not net. With them playing on a high school field, so far away from the actual University, it should make the school want to make a new stadium happen even more.Comment

Yes. It is the total in revenues from all sources including student fees. It is essentially what a school is spending on football.
In NWMSU's case, I believe it covers goal post replacement.Comment

Says a lot about two things....commitment level and cost of attendance.
Also, look at Humboldt. The ratio of financial aid expenditures versus male enrollment has to be among the lowest.Comment

I agree. Seems to be no uniform accounting process across that insures expenses at school A are accounted the exact same way as the same expense at school B, C and D.
The information at this site is what each school provides and should be taken with a grain of salt. While the total numbers might be toughly correct, how schools account for the use of that money varies wildly.Comment

It would be nice if the accounting was consistent across every program, but it doesn't seem like it is. One of the things that I've always wondered is how is stadium maintenance and upkeep accounted for at schools that have multiple teams using the same facility? Is it paid 100% out of the football account? 50/50 with the women's soccer account? If there is a track around the field, does the track budget get dinged for stadium maintenance? Same question for auditoriums that house teams like basketball and also have classrooms that are used.
