  • OT: Is anything left?

With everything being cancelled, are there any sports left that anyone can think of?

-NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship Game is still scheduled for tonight at 6PM
-UFC is still planning to continue
-WWE is still holding Friday Night Smackdown, but it has been moved to their own facility in Orlando and no fans are permitted
-AEW will still be performing, but they've moved their show to Jacksonville and will be restricting fans.

Other than that, every professional, college, and even a handful of amateur sporting events/leagues I've looked into have been cancelled or suspended.

-The NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's basketball tournaments are still being played and will conclude tomorrow. DI and DII are currently scheduled to begin in April.
-NASCAR and IndyCar are to proceed without fans.
-American Cornhole League is proceeding with limited access
-Championship Darts Corporation is beginning to move events around

UFC is still on as of right now.
WWE and AEW have moved both of their shows to Florida.
Street League Skateboarding cancelled the rest of their season
American Cornhole League cancelled their upcoming Cleveland event
Call of Duty League is moving online

Yeah, I'm reaching with some of these, but I can't think of anything else. Literally the entire sport of hockey from juniors all the way through the NHL has shut down. I'm hearing now that youth sports are planning on shutting down as well.

NASCAR and INDYCAR are now officially down.

Arguably the most hyped season in the history of Minnesota basketball, boys and girls, both tournaments have been cancelled.

RCTC just tipped off in the semi-final game. They are streaming online, but they are charging.

If they win, they will play for a national title on their own gym floor in what very well could be the final college basketball game of the season.

NJCAA is still hosting the women's tournament as well.

It's that bad that Bovada has a prop for a Hunter Biden vs Donald Trump Jr celebrity boxing match on their site.

The NJCAA suspends all spring competition beginning Saturday, March 14 through Friday, April 3 along with the postponement of DI and DII men's and women's basketball championships until April 20.

Hardship season completion ruling is extended to 60% - if teams cancel their season before the limit is reached, athletes will not lose a year of eligibility.

For the 2020-21 season, the NJCAA is also increasing its allowable number of Letters of Intent which will be vetted by the Eligibility Committee.

The junior college D3 women's championship was won tonight by Western Tech over Northland. Oddly, both teams are in the Minnesota JC conference.

Professional Bowling Association appears to still be functioning through Sunday before shutting down.

Professional Bull Riders appear to be functioning without fans.

I watched the historic WWE Friday Night Smackdown broadcast and holy cow was that weird.

                          Minnesota will have no practices.

Effective from Wednesday, March 18, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020: --There will be no MSHSL activities and athletics at any member school. This includes all participation including, but not limited to training, practices, scrimmages, and contests.

The previous MSHSL directive prohibiting scrimmages, contests and competitions with other MSHSL programs for Spring activities and athletics will continue until April 6, 2020.

Pretty good letter from the MSU AD. He recovered from cancer and talks about the current situation.

Have you heard of any other schools having spring practice? This is the U of Idaho.
