Long time Boston/New England area sportswriter Jackie MacMullen just said on ESPN's Around The Horn show that the UConn football program lost 13 million dollars last year due to poor attendance, and that probably has something to do with their decision. The Huskies have done poorly since they moved up to FBS.

They and UMass should have stayed FCS.

In reading the article, I understand it more for the reasoning as Doug Pederson hadn't tested positive yet. I have a feeling that if he had, the Raiders wouldn't have done this but then again the Raiders are in a very unique situation with all the casinos in Las Vegas being a tempting place to go to.

From Reddit CFB as of 1 PM CDT. D3 is pretty bare. The UMAC dropped out but did say that if schools wanted to play OOC games that they still could. They would have to play NAIA schools. Here I was hoping for Martin Luther in New Ulm to become national champs like UCF.

National Collegiate Rugby is postponing the NCR 15s Championships for 2020 at this time with the hope for alternatives if conditions improve later in the year. NCR will make adjustments based on any progress in this challenging environment.

The Mid-American Conference has postponed its entire fall sports season, becoming the first FBS conference to make the drastic decision because of ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. I'll miss those Tuesday and Wednesday night football games this fall.
