That is interesting, considering the UAF link mentions needing 10 sports for the NCAA. Hopefully they can add men's and women's soccer as you suggest to stay in the NCAA and GNAC.

Interesting. They combined them in one category on their website.

Soccer does seem like the easiest addition.

        • Some of UNC's fraternities and sororities's recent careless actions in holding big parties where social distancing were obviously disregarded is now threatening to derail their Football's possibility of playing this year, thus affecting the ACC.

UAF gets to 10 sports because their men's and women's ski teams are counted separately; although they compete together for a single co-ed championship.

Pretty much every school has Indoor and Outdoor T/F combined on their site. Looking at the schedule will give a hint if they have both; is a Conference and/or NCAA Indoor Championship scheduled. You can also check the NCAA Sport Directory.

The Bears actually were an independent in D1 until the fall of 2017. I saw their men's basketball team get drilled in the Pentagon on a Sunday a few years ago- I can't remember if it was against Northern. There were a few more D2 baseball teams that were D1- LeMoyne & Hawaii-Hilo. Dallas Baptist still is.

                          • There's a lot of professional rugby streaming live and on demand on ESPN+ this weekend. They've got Super Rugby from Australia and Pro14 rugby from Europe. If you're looking for some sports to watch give it go. I can't wait. :)

It doesn't matter if you are pro or anti mask. The question to ask is who is playing HS sports about- the players or the fans? No one is making you come to watch- stay home if you can't follow the rules. Grow up and let them play!
