They used to be called the Crusaders but political correctness caused the name change. I love the new polar bear mascot- that should create some great fan wear. I do have a Crown baseball cap but may have to get a new one if the polar bear is on it. Crown is having a fund raising drive for a new basketball floor- not sure if there was a water leak or what. I've seen some games there too. The son of one of my former girls basketball players is signed up to go there.
I'm watching COACH re-runs on Antenna TV and thought of how much you love Minnesota related sports. Here's the Minnesota State Screaming Eagles logo and helmet for you to save if you want. I didn't get to watch that show much when it was on originally so I'm really enjoying the re-runs now.

It's worked at pro rugby matches down under in Australia and New Zealand where they limit it to 1,500 fans and spread them out all around the stadium with no more than two sitting together (couples sort of thing). These are smaller stadiums that hold 30,000 of so. If the NFL opens their games up to fans maybe they could try 3,000 fans in a 60,000 seat stadium. Just spit balling numbers here, but you get my drift. Or go with no fans at all. Safety first!
I'd add on no alcohol for fans too. Alcohol impairs the brain enough to cause them to stop social distancing and do stupid things that could spread the virus.

They're also considering holding the World Series at the new stadium in Arlington, Texas (home of the Rangers) no matter what two teams are involved. The players union has to approve it first.

No disrespect to Trey Lance but he was never a Harlon Hill finalist, nor does he rank on NDSU's leaderboard for total punt yards.
Oof. Tough crowd. Second swing and a miss this month on the board, haha.

I've noticed this odd dynamic between Trey and SMSU. Obviously, he has a lot of connection to the school and did technically play "at" SMSU. He's been name dropped in a few university releases as well. Part of it simply is the small town dynamic - but I've wondered if the Mustangs aren't trying to get in on a little bit of his hype. I mean, every time ESPN plays footage of a home game - we'll see the Mustang logo...

Anyway - back on topic, things seem to have really quieted down. First we had a small rush of college closures, then a large rush of program cancellations, then all the conference drama - followed up by another small group of program cancellations. Kinda odd how there hasn't been much movement in the last couple weeks.
