2021 Rosters

I note the West Florida fall 2020 roster is 108 after graduation, transfers and 2020 signing class. With 2021 signing class upcoming it looks like Argos and many other teams will be carrying larger rosters in 2021.

I was wondering if closures of other programs and carryover eligibility would cause a greater concentration of top talent in some programs and what effect it might have on 2021 season. My guess is closer games among top teams and more blowouts between unequal roster teams. Any thoughts on this topic?

I think another consideration is teams being more aggressive with cuts, allowing good players who didn't get a shot transferring elsewhere with three or four years of eligibility remaining. For example: Ferris has 49 freshman on the roster right now, 1/3 of the the team basically. It would be silly to think that most of them aren't gone by the time games start kicking off next fall to make room for following freshmen and transfers.
