Yes, class act indeed. Glad he walked away with a ring.

Iggles fans will miss Eli too. The Iggles are 23-10 vs the Midgets since he joined their roster.

Are we talking Wentz or Dave Kreig? I remember all his fumbles despite all his winning. I also remember a game in KC where he was sacked 7 times by Derrick Thomas, but still won the game.

Is this like similar in saying that the standings would be X if you postulated that The Winning Team in each game now scored less than The Losing Team?

These are always funny to me as it negates that a team scored more than another team and won the game.

I'm so glad Seattle didn't get the 10:00 am game like they usually do as a Wild Card. 1:40 pm is a much better start for them and any West Coast team.

That would have made SFU a playoff team with 1-loss! Last few seasons they'd have been national champs and undefeated!

It was similar for GVSU fans in 2014 when the Lakers were the best 6 win team in the country.

That was a stupid exercise because it failed to take into account the actions of the winning team.

Hypothetical: Lions are up 7-0 with 1:00 left in the game and the 49ers have the ball at their own 20. They fail and turn the ball over on downs. The Lions now have 1st and 10 on the 49ers 20-yard line. They will kneel twice and the game is over. If they "had to win by two scores," they'd kick the field goal.

This hypothetical is invalid. The Lions being up is impossible.

The Lions led in 14 of their 16 games this year. The only two games they didn't lead were Week 14 vs Vikings (20-7 L) and Week 15 vs the Bucs (38-17 L).
