    Re: 2019 D2 Draft Results

Here is how my top 30 fared. The only one who has not gotten a chance so far is #19 from what I have found. His off the field issues are likely the reason why because he has talent. The kid had a lot of NFL interest during the fall and tested well at pro day so that would be the reason why. Hills was a tryout instead of a signing because of his past medical concerns and the fact he was hurt so bad during the draft process he could not even test at pro day. The biggest draft surprise was that Ballentine fell to the 6th round since players like him usually are taken a round or so earlier than you would think. I had a 6th round grade on him but projected a higher pick. I had a 4th round grade on Pipkins but thought he may go early 5th round. Dulin and Johnson were slight surprises but when you project 6-7 range those are 50/50 anyway so no huge shock.

Was told he retired for a medical reason. Was not aware of it during draft process so it caught me by surprise as well.

On defense and RB. Too bad their offense has been inept since 2014, their defense the last 2 years was natl championship caliber.
