A brief summary from this week's D2 Membership Committee report (D2 football programs in bold):

- The University of Texas-Tyler (Lone Star Conference) has completed the three-year transition process and is now a full D2 member (side note: this leaves UT-Dallas - which is actually located in the city of Richardson - as the only D3 program out of the eight UT system schools, though there always seem to be rumors about UTD eventually making the jump to D2)
- The College of Staten Island (East Coast Conference) and Frostburg State (Mountain East Conference) will be in Provisional Year Three of their respective transitions from D3 to D2
- D'Youville College (ECC) will enter Provisional Year Two of their transition into D2 while Allen (SIAC) will have to repeat Provisional Year One
- Edward Waters College (SIAC) and Emory & Henry College (South Atlantic College) will enter into Provisional Year One of their respective transitions to D2
