  • 2022 D2 NFL Draft Prospects to watch

2022 NFL Draft Division II names to watch. I will post some more names as we go but I thought I would post some of the top names. As of now I would say Webb, Young, Williams, Blue, Flowers, Bell, and Pryor are the top names but that could change.

    CB Sam Webb, Missouri Western
    WR Dareke Young, Lenoir-Rhyne
    CB Anthony Blue, Newberry
    DT Josh Pryor, Bowie State
    CB Josh Williams, Fayetteville State
    CB Dallis Flowers, Pittsburg State
    CB Cory Batie, Harding
    S D'Anthony Bell, West Florida
    WR David Duren, West Florida
    TE/FB Ian Fryday, Adams State
    WR L'liott Curry, Henderson State
    LB Marvin Terry, Delta State
    OL Brent Laing, Minnesota Duluth
OL Grant Smith, South Dakota School of Mines
    WR Danny Kittner, UMary
    DB Raekwon Chatman, West Georgia
CB Kader Kohou, Texas A&M Commerce

I was hoping Flowers would be a good prospect, but he has gotten quite a hot head at times.

I'm not saying he would get drafted but he is getting attention. Things like that can effect stock. Scouts see it on film and then ask coaches and so players definitely need to realize that stuff will come up.

Jared Bernhardtfrom Ferris state is a very savvy QB. Watched him against Grand Valley, and saw how he managed the game. Very accurate. passer.
Would not be surprised if he was a 6th. or 7th draft pick.

You might find this of interest, if you scroll down a bit.

Looking at past D2 QBs who were not drafted I'm not seeing it happen.

Also, Tariq Bitson transferred to Tarleton in 2020, he only played at Adams State in 2019.

If he gets a chance it will be at receiver, his passing is entirely dependent on teams selling out to keep him in the pocket.

I saw some talk that pro lacrosse teams were hesitant because they expected the NFL to come calling after this year

Hearing any noise for Drew Seers of Lindenwood? His stock seemed to be pretty high last spring before it was known he was definitely playing his (covid) senior season. Also curious about Clint Sigg. He definitely has ideal height for the next level at 6'5". At 240 lbs, could probably use an extra 10 lbs of muscle to make the scouts happy though.

Minot State tweeted a couple weeks back that Washington was in town - wasn't sure who they were there to look at.

Yes but I was just naming the top names and will continue to add as I hear buzz.
