MIAA schools need to get on the ball to raise the SOS. Otherwise, the miaa champ will end up traveling again.
LSC teams could be a potential option now.

Both Glenville State and Chadron State claim to be opening against Quincy. Quincy has not yet released their schedule.

                    Notable updates:

                    * Mars Hill will host Wingate in a Week 2 "non-conference" game.
                    * Midwestern State will host Mississippi College in Week 2, giving us three LSC–GSC matchups... though that could increase, given the number of late-season openings in both conferences.

Speaking of which, here are the statuses of the LSC schedules after the Simon Fraser news:

                    * No schedule released yet: Eastern New Mexico
                    * Haven't removed Simon Fraser from their schedules yet: Angelo State, Western New Mexico, Western Oregon
                    * Have "TBA" or "TBD" in the place of Simon Fraser: Texas A&M Kingsville, West Texas A&M
                    * Simon Fraser has been removed with no indication of a replacement: Central Washington, Midwestern State (note that CWU needs another game to be playoff-eligible)
                    * A replacement has been found: UTPB (will visit Southwest Baptist in Week 3)

Yeah WT now has an open week 11 the last game of the year which stinks trying to fill.

Only way this is beneficial is if they make the playoffs (unlikely) and need a bye week to heal up.

Incidentally, based on committee reports it appears that the minimum number of games for playoff eligibility will likely be lowered from 10 to 9 this year.

Lake Erie just posted their schedule, they open at home against Franklin Pierce.

What’s interesting is week 2 they show themselves hosting Ferris State, while both FSU and Ashland have the bulldogs playing at AU that day. Northern Mich shows themselves hosting Lake Erie week 2 which of course LEC has themselves hosting Ferris.

A couple Week 4 games have been added to fill in gaps in already-released schedules: Northern Michigan at Quincy and Benedict at Chowan.
