Social media folks, others around the block i know. Matt Brown has mentioned it before, but that was last spring I think. when I was in Pensacola this summer on campus at UWF for the day there was a few people who I talked to while visiting that seemed to think it was inevitable those 3 make the jump at some point.Originally posted by Rational Observer View Post
Who are "most folks", and are they just spitballing, or are these beliefs based on anything substantial?

Yep! Ouachita, Harding, Henderson St, So Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, Arkansas Monticello all were.Originally posted by ctrabs74 View Post
GAC would make the most sense, except I don't know if they're interested in expanding outside of their existing Arkansas/Oklahoma footprint. Although, as I recall, weren't most of the Arkansas GAC schools part of the GSC before they left to form the GAC.

Most folks believe Valdosta and West Florida are next to make the jump, leaving Delta St, Mississippi College and West Alabama. GAC and LSC would make the most sense from a geographical standpoint. I think all 3 are too far to join the SAC.

It's always made geographic sense, and it's finally happening: Trevecca Nazarene is leaving the GMAC for the GSC next year. https://gscsports.org/news/2023/9/14...onference.aspx

Matt's article says they will start by adding Track & Field and looking at other women's sports. UNA added women's golf and beach volleyball.Originally posted by Tech Boys View Post
What men's sport will they add to meet D1 requirements? Are the nine women's sports enough to satisfy Title IX after the addition of the new men's sport and the additional football scholarships?

Multiple industry sources tell Extra Points that the University of West Georgia is seeking to reclassify to D-I and join the ASUN and UAC. The Georgia Board of Regents will consider the request in a meeting this Friday.

I feel bad for them. Always kinda like Oregon State because of colors and nickname.Originally posted by laker View PostOregon State and Washington State in a conference.

SEC should add them SOLELY because of baseball. Although Beaver football is trending in the right direction. I think Smith is one of if not the best coach in the Pac 12
