    Another name change (just found)

Westminster College is now Westminster University. It was announced in September 2022 that the new name would take effect at the start of the 2023-24 academic year.

Social media folks, others around the block i know. Matt Brown has mentioned it before, but that was last spring I think. when I was in Pensacola this summer on campus at UWF for the day there was a few people who I talked to while visiting that seemed to think it was inevitable those 3 make the jump at some point.

Yep! Ouachita, Harding, Henderson St, So Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, Arkansas Monticello all were.

It's always made geographic sense, and it's finally happening: Trevecca Nazarene is leaving the GMAC for the GSC next year. https://gscsports.org/news/2023/9/14...onference.aspx

Matt's article says they will start by adding Track & Field and looking at other women's sports. UNA added women's golf and beach volleyball.

I feel bad for them. Always kinda like Oregon State because of colors and nickname.

SEC should add them SOLELY because of baseball. Although Beaver football is trending in the right direction. I think Smith is one of if not the best coach in the Pac 12
