Yeah, great pickup. A bit of a bummer for those of us who watched him play in Mankato - but I get it all the same.

Cool list though, I'll have to make it a point to watch some of these guys this year.

Just finished the rough draft of the draft eligible rankings for Phil Steele Magazine and there will be a few D2 players who I expect to make print.

    Sam Pitz (TE) 6'6" 245#
    Aiden Williams (TE) 6'6" 295#
Both of them will for sure.

He and your long snapper both are on the radar.

I did not see him on their roster when I last checked so I was not sure. I wonder if he will start or be depth?

If he doesn't get drafted to the NFL he can join Matocha and Pierce in Toronto.

You actually don't hear much about Pat and Phil. Their cousin Holden is the star of that family. He gets all of the attention.

Here is something for King and other players to think about. Often times a player who transfers up has less production/playing time the first year they leave but sees an improvement in their second year. If he plays for GVSU this year then I would assume he would have just one year left. If he goes FBS he could be used as a backup while he adjusts to the level of play. There is no COVID year to give him that second year so if he is not used as much he could see what stock he has dip. He should have his coaches give his name to NFL scouts this fall to get some legit feedback. If it looks like he is going to have high stock then he should either come out or have another huge year at GVSU and go in his normal class.

TE Gavin Cossou is likely to get the most interest on GVSU at he is a big body. NFL teams will come on campus to see him and likely take a look at Kyler Blake-Jones, Darrell Johnson,Ian Kennelly, Jay'viar Suggs, and Cody Tierney so while scouts are there I would get him some NFL feedback.
Unfortunately, Jay'viar Suggs is off to LSU. =(

    Tyrese Hunt-Thompson - WR -FSU
Preston Smith - WR - DU
Gavin Cossou - TE - GVSU
    Gabe Brown - OG/OT - GVSU
Jacarvis Alexandre - CB - FSU (I think will technically be a Jr, but this is his 5th season I believe, so unsure if he will use extra years - Covid/RS, Med RS).
Joey Mahop - CB - RU
    Ian Kennelly - S - GVSU
Jack Gilchrist - DT - GVSU
Victor Nelson - DT - FSU
Geemontae Peck - DT - DU

    - I may have missed a guy or two but off my top of the head those are the potential GLIAC guys
I was told Gabe Brown ran in the 5.6s so for him to get a strong look he will really need to look a lot faster this fall and run much faster at the senior pro day.

Alexandre could return but he intrigued scouts on film from the fall and will get looks I am told.

I expect Michigan Tech S Buechel, SVSU LB Micah Cretsinger and LB Alfred Dailey to get some looks as well.
