Hopefully the odds of a player getting shanked on the field during the game are close to 0😳

Should be a quiet week in the GAC. I'll keep an eye on two games to see how OBU and SNU respond to their game last week. It would be good to see if SNU can keep it rolling with a win over UAM at home.

OBU travels to face the other OBU in Shawnee. Will OBU step up after a terrible loss to or will they struggle against the other Oklahoma private school? It's really hard not to conclude Ouachita was looking past both SNU and OkBU to the Battle of the Ravine, but I expect they are dialed in now knowing that their playoff hopes are on the line the next 2 weeks.

Virginia Union vs Virginia State will be for a spot in the CIAA championship game. SR2 playoff seeds are also at stake.

Yeah. I definitely think that might turn out to be the GOTW.

Emporia still has a bit to prove to make playoffs....and I think FHSU still has a very very narrow path but of course winning this is a must.

Central Missouri @ Pittsburg - 5 years older than the game above having first played in 1919, although this is only th 54th matchup in that time. Central MO has the offensive firepower to catch Pitt sleeping, which would really disrupt region III if they pull the upset.

Central Oklahoma @ Missouri Western - a bit of the polish on UCO season came of last week, they have to pick themselves up with a long road trip to a place in MO West that historically has weird things happen. This is another game where an upset would throw Region III into some chaos.

IMO - Minnesota State and Northern State is my pick for the NSIC, though UMD/Winona is probably the real answer. WSC/Bemidji also looks good.

CSU-Pueblo @ Western Colorado - at this point both likely playing for seeding in Region IV and possilby RMAC title.

Wingate @ Lenoir-Rhyne - likely playing for seeding in Region II...SAC conference is still open but winner here has easiest path.

Central Washington @ Angelo - could be a playoff elimination game.

    Sioux Falls at Wayne State
    Bemidji State at Winona State
    Augustana at Minnesota State-Mankato
All three of these wound up with the "underdog" winning. The NSIC is cannibalizing itself this year.

I would agree, a CWU/WO LSC title game would really be something!
Arne Ferguson has been the HC at WOU since 2005. He has done a lot with a limited amount of resources. Perhaps a lot of the success they have had (he is 103-91 as HC) has been overshadowed by the success of CWU. They have always seemed to be a tough out for my Wildcats and have handled a few of the "big boys" from DII and FCS.

    Haha, minds would be blown!

WOU impressed last week. I know there is a stigma about them choking. They have looked good thus far.
