    • In the NE10, New Haven goes to St. Anselm. The teams are tied for first place in the NE10 and New Haven in number 8 in the Super Region 1 rankings. St. Anselm has upset New Haven a couple times in the past.

      • With 5 teams in the hunt for the conference championship game, the SIAC has multiple games of the week.

Miles at Tuskegee and Fort Valley State at Albany State should both be good rivalry games with conference championship implications.

        • In the miaa, I think UCM at Emporia could be a good one. UCM has grabbed a gear the last couple of weeks, and would love to kill Emporia's PO hopes.

          • Saginaw Valley @ Ferris - Saggy hasn't made the playoffs since 2013, this is their one shot, their one opportunity to break the 10 year drought.

Sioux Falls @ Augustana - NSIC title might be on the line and playoff implications certainly are.

Colorado Mines @ CSU-Pueblo - Pueblo looking to get that top seed in SR4, while Mines is fighting to get a seed at all in the region.

Central Missouri @ Emporia - Central MO trying to continue to wreck havoc in the region after beating Pitt last week, can eliminate Emporia this week.

Valdosta @ Delta - This is the first true test on the football field Valdosta has gone against this year.

Virginia Union @ Virginia State - playoff spot on the line

            • Probably Minnesota State/Duluth or Augustana/Bemidji

              • PSAC TITLE GAME has 10-0 KUTZTOWN at 8-1 CALU. The winner will vie with 10-0 CHARLESTON for the #1 seed in SR1.

                • Rivalry Week in the GAC.

Battle of the Ravine between Ouachita and Henderson. Ouachita is playing to stay in the playoffs. QB play has been questionable. Henderson is looking to play the spoiler and prevent OBU from claiming the GAC title and a spot in the playoffs.

The other intra-Arkansas rivalry games probably won't be competitive, Harding vs Arkansas Tech and Southern Arkansas vs. UA Monticello. SAU could maybe get into the playoffs but would need an OBU loss in addition to some other unexpected losses in the region.

The intra-Oklahoma games should all be competitive with teams looking to go into the off season to build off a win against their rivals.

Edit: Welp, should have waited for the regional rankings. SAU has dropped out of the rankings this week.

                  • In the LSC, the two Pacific Northwest schools got at in a longtime rivalry. Central Washington is in the #6 spot in the region 4 rankings and is hosting a Western Oregon team that is 6-4 and has played everyone tough this season but is dealing with injuries to key players.

                    • Pitt @ NW will determine whether Pitt or the NW coaches make the cut.

                      • Western @ Mesa - I believe Western is in the playoffs no matter what happens here but a Mesa win could, with some help, put 3 RMAC teams in the playoffs.

Pueblo @ Chadron - A mismatch on paper and Pueblo has won something like 14 straight vs the Eagles but the Chadron defense has kept them in close games vs the top of the RMAC all year. Pueblo playing for the outright RMAC title which they have not won in a decade, and top seed in SR4.

Pueblo is still the sleeper in D2 despite the close loss to Grand Valley. I am going back to sleep now.

                          • Kutztown @ California (PA) - PSAC Championship and 1 seed in region one on the line

West Florida @ Valdosta - GSC title on the line, West FL may need the win to make the playoffs

Ouachita Baptist @ Henderson - loser is for sure missing the playoffs.

Emporia @ Central Oklahoma - neither of these teams have played well the last few weeks. and the MIAA conference has been a wild ride so I expect this one to match the season

Arkansas Tech @ Harding - Harding is playing for the #1 seed or missing the playoffs altogether, pretty big difference for them depending on the outcome of this one.

Pittburg @ Northwest Missouri - one of the biggest rivalries in D2. After last week debacle Pitt is playing for their playoff lives while NW would love to prevent that and finish the season strong.

Virginia St @ Virginia Union - rematch from last week with the CIAA title and playoff spot on the line

That's definitely the biggest game but if the game gets out of hand early one way or the other, I expect there'll be an upset brewing somewhere that we'll be able to turn to. Plus there's scouting of possible future opponents, so it'll be a lot to see on Saturday.
