In that case I’ll blame them for a dumb decision rather than you for using it. The logo is also ugly; looks like a credit union or some non-profit that no one cares about.

Force of habit. It's also what they called it. Quoting my post and asking this question might have even been a bigger waste of time.

I'll stop calling it "NC-Double-A" from now on too lol.

We have 114 Community Colleges here in the Golden State and 67 of them have football teams as of November 2021 (per Wikipedia).

I love SoCal where I live and hope the firefighters will be able to get a handle on the Los Angeles county fires soon. With all the smoke in the air I can't help but think about it 24/7. And now the Santa Ana winds are kicking up again as we enter week two. If I'm correct it's only for California colleges, unless they picked up a few drifters in nearby states. They have more football programs than the entire NJCAA, so they don't really need to compete outside of it.

They used to have the Junior Rose Bowl which was considered to be a national championship - top team in California vs. top team outside of it. They usually won though.

Yes, he was my favorite coach! Since I used some of his terminology (along with my Ridgewater plays) I would talk with him a lot. He talked about the A&I backfield and their 40 times- and that some of them played in the NFL. Les tried out as a kicker for the Vikings but hurt his knee in practice so he didn't have much of a chance to beat out Fred Cox, the inventor of the Nerf ball. Les also spent a year before coming to Buffalo Lake playing for the Indianapolis Capitols. I think they were in the Continental Football League or something similar. After leaving BL he was in the WFL- I t
hink the Florida Blazers and one other. We were going to watch him on TV one night- the team folded that day.

I got a Nerf football when they first came out in the early 70's and I remember the Florida Blazers as well. Go deep laker I'll throw you a Hail Mary.

There was no Victory Bowl this year for the NCCAA national championship.

One thing I want to do someday is figure out how many football championships were won along the I-29 corridor running from Grand Forks to Omaha/Council Bluffs. Between UND/NDSU/SDSU/Morningside/Iowa Western - it has to be a ton.
