Did he fall out of a window or did he somehow get up on the roof and fall? At SJSU the dorm windows only open half way to prevent accidental falls or jumps. That's probably why the students there go to the "haunted" parking garage to jump.

You can always push a body through a wood chipper. Oh wait, that's North Dakota. ;)

That’s awful to have happen. At my school we had something similar happen, a frat guy got hammered and fell about 20 feet. Broke a bunch of bones but survived.

Also had the starting linebacker do a B+E into my bedroom when I was away for the weekend because he lost his keys when he was out and couldn’t get into the building. Campus police left me a note asking if I wanted to press charges, but he didn’t do it to steal anything (not that I had anything worth stealing), so no big deal.

Moose Lake, MN. No scenes were actually filmed in ND. The name of the film should have been Brainerd, but too many people outside of Minnesota wouldn't understand that name. Sounds like something out of an Ace and Gary skit.

Ya, I know. I'm a big fan of the movie and noticed that it was shot in Minnesota in the credits, but thanks for letting those that don't know now know. I was just joking. You know me, the comedian of the D2 message board with the gifs and memes that I use from time to time. All in good fun, my jokes are never meant to hurt. :)

I first saw this movie in Indianapolis in 1997 after the 500 got rained out. I was with a local who I stayed with for the men's Final Four that the Gophers were officially never at. Anyway- he and his girlfriend asked if Minnesota people actually talked that way. I answered, "Yah, you betcha!"

I believe out of the window of his room. IIRC that building had big windows that fully opened. Wonder if it's still like that, haven't been back to campus since the year after I graduated 18 years ago.

Thank you for letting me know. I hope you get back to your old campus someday. I don't know if they celebrate homecoming there, but you can always have your own. In some ways I liked my community college better than the university I transferred to. Smaller classes, more hands on time in lab/production settings and I made the cross country and track & field teams. Things I didn't have access to or couldn't do at the university level.

Community colleges rule. I was watching a video earlier today about Fullerton College, and looking at programs at CNM in Albuquerque. There was a trend of MBA graduates getting an additional associate's degree after the fact, and I think I might do that too. Such great resources.

That guy must be fan of the old 21 Jump Street show starring Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson. LOL

                            • Midwest school NIU is spreading it's brand all over the West. First the MW with football, then the Pac-12 with wrestling and now back to the MW with women's gymnastics. Gotta' love those frequent flyer miles. LOL

                              • Who didn't refer to the Northeast Conference as the NEC already? This is the dumbest thing since the CAA changed from the Colonial to the Coastal.
