That's not the flagship, like you stated earlier. And that's why you didn't use the quote feature this time. Someone sent me a message warning me about you and they were right. Sheesh!Originally posted by Bballfan View PostCal for academics yes. But in terms of athletics UCLA is the standard bearer.

Well this list can’t be right; I don’t see IUP on there, and I’ve been repeatedly assured that no university on Earth, save maybe Oxford, can compete with its splendor and prestige!Originally posted by laker View Post“No matter how badly things get blown apart, we will always plant flowers again.”

You know exactly what I mean and it's why I was warned about you, from two different people actually. It's obviously true, so go ahead and take the last word.Last edited by crixus; 04-25-2026, 03:23 PM.

Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California will close at the end of this academic year. They shut their NAIA (Cal Pac Conference) athletics program down last spring, but it wasn't enough to save the school. I have a frisbee type disc with the Sea Beggars logo on it. I'll keep it for posterity, cool nickname and logo.

HACC to discontinue all but 1 varsity sport as budget deficit looms
Pennsylvania junior college dropping sports. This won't be the last.

I've often wondered what the future of JUCO is going to be - football outside of a few states is pretty much extinct already.Originally posted by laker View PostHACC to discontinue all but 1 varsity sport as budget deficit looms
