I just watched the MW Media Days interview with Commissioner Gloria Navarez and she said there won't be another addition to the MW this year. But to expect good news in that regard in 2026. Will that be the addition of North Dakota State football? I think so. Navarez also said a MW TV deal will be announced soon.

I heard on The Big Mountain podcast a couple of weeks ago that the Sun Belt conference will probably add LA Tech. They always gave my SJSU Spartans fits when both of those teams were in the WAC.

Confirmed: Louisiana Tech to the Sun Belt by 2027. The article indicates that there's a chance LA Tech could be in the Sun Belt next season, but no later than 2027

I don't know in the long-term how these poor conferences remain with FBS football. They are not going to have the money or the resources to compete at any point. And if you do get some good players they will hit the portal to get more money at a Power 4 school.

College athletics is such a mess right now.

I don't know if that's a comparison I'd make. The Sun Belt has been trending upwards and it's not like the Sun Belt went out and got Sacramento State. In fact, the western edge of the Sun Belt's footprint shrinks with Louisiana Tech replacing Texas State. Can you clarify what you meant?
