Millersville, the school that was in-season opening #1 which prompted the thread to be opened, is now filled.

The three that are unfilled by my account, whoever is running the tracker on the website (I would imagine Chuck/Witt) are Clark Atlanta, Bowie State, and Edinboro. Am I missing anything at this time? Please DM me if I am. Thanks!

Clark Atlanta hired Terry Sims to be their next HC. He was the head coach at FCS Bethune-Cookman from 2015-2022.

Thanks to Finchwidget for the update on Clark Atlanta! Delta State added this morning.

The count is 25 coaches, with openings at Bowie State, Delta State, and Edinboro

Edinboro's was never really open. When Matt Scott resigned, DC Eric Crandall was named interim head coach for the 2026 season.

Thanks to Matt for the clarification on Edinboro. As of right now all 26 Head Coaching positions that opened up here in the offseason have been filled. Now then, watch the carousel start to abruptly speed up right out of nowhere.

Conferences that had no coaching changes in this offseason: NE10, MIAA, Conf. Carolinas, GLVC or RMAC

The carousel had some time for maintenance and it's back up and spinning again, with Tiffin's Brett Ekkens departing for the Offensive Quality Control position with the Arizona Cardinals.

Morehouse has named Brad Sherrod as their new head coach. He was most recently HC at NAIA Texas Wesleyan and led them to consecutive playoff berths in his only two seasons there. I didn't even realize the Maroon Tigers had a vacancy-- apparently they parted ways with their old HC back in December, and it just flew under everyone's radar.
