      They’re all…choices.

And he had a better average per punt. Maybe it was the RMAC who made a choice.

I'm sure the RMAC coaches had good reasoning to put one guy over the other..but for us punting is pretty straight forward in how we look at it.

        Lucas LeSieur 44.82
        Brodie Eisenbraun 44.16

          JRog will really be missed.

I think you could make a case that we was a top 5'ish defender in D2 this year..considering how he covered ground for strong squad.

In that case the punting average leader in the RMAC was Sullivan Moon 45.8

I’d have still given the nod to Eisenbraun, comparable average distance but less touchbacks, and more downed inside the 20 than either of the other guys, either way we’re splitting hairs between 3 good punters

When we drum up the Elite 100 we use the national stats database (NCAA stat page) like pretty much all the all american teams would for stat analysis....and Sullivan Moon isn't listed on that page at all. That's a bad deal for the player. While he has less than 40 punts, there's still others listed there with less punts than he had..so there seems to be something up with one side or the other regarding that information showing up properly on the NCAA page.

Yes, the numbers for these punters is very close with a handful or more..so you can kinda take your pick, for sure.

Now the question is how many underclassmen on these teams are in the portal? I would say quite a few.

Only one GV player on the entire list. Might be an all time low. Needs to get fixed.

I think it means that the group did a good job selecting this list when the only "real" argument is a discussion about the 2nd team punter....
