  • Ashland University getting indoor facility

    Going to start posting non 2020 season stuff over here, but AU finally announced today they are building a new indoor complex. It will be an 80 yard turf field and an 8 lane track. The building will sit behind the current football stadium. This really was the only area, facility wise that was holding AU back. Glad to see it getting done.

    Thanks to the generous gifts of three lead donors, Ashland University stands ready to break ground on a first-class, 125,000-square-foot indoor athletic and activity center adjacent to the Dwight Schar Athletic Complex. The concept for the Niss Athletic Center was driven by AU parents Dan and Brenda Niss, as well as alumni Jack and Deb Miller and Jerry Ruyan. Completion of the

    Nice add. EAGLES T&F, FOOTBALL, SOCCER, BB and SB will have a big advantage versus almost any D2 school. Also an amazing selling point to any athletes considering attending.

      Big track (300m). I think Hillsdale, Cedarville and Tiffin all have 200m tracks.

          Muskingum University already broke ground on a new indoor complex, indoor practice facility and track with classrooms, press box, and new stands. Really going to be nice when completed.
