  • America's Crossroads Bowl

With the playoffs set, which teams should we expect to represent the gmac and glvc in the bowl game on December 6th?

Upper Iowa vs Tiffin is my guess. Also, do they stream the game anywhere for those who are unable to attend in person?

ISC Sports Network does the game. You will be able to access the live stream on their website. Not sure if GLVCSN and the GMAC will also provide the feed on their websites.

Does the winner of this bowl get a $$ prize to help cover their expenses or do they participate for the love of the game, extra practices and hopefully a trophy?

The Albanese Candy Bowl will be held December 6, 1pm, in Hobart, IN. Upper Iowa will take on Hillsdale. Tiffin must have declined the invitation.

Anyone have a scouting report on Hillsdale? Hopefully it’s a good game. I will have to stream it.

Decent team who often underachieves. They should be better than they are, but they never seem to put a whole team together. I guess you could say, just depends on what Hillsdale team shows up. The one that only lost to Findlay by 2 at Findlay, or the one that lost badly at home to Northwood.

Wow that was a close game, did not expect the chargers to put up that big of a fight. I will say from what I saw in person, the peacocks were a very unsportsmanlike team, a lot of extracurricular activities after plays and overall just no respect for their opponent. For a team that has had such humble beginnings I was shocked with how they behaved.

This is what I saw as well, that team is more feisty than Findlay or Tiffin was in their rivalry games against Hillsdale.

I think the culture of the two leagues is just different. Over the years I've seen a lot of chippy games in the GLVC, a lot of trash talking, and a lot of penalties, especially in the big games.
