Would like to hear your predictions about this years all conference teams. The way I see it, Concord, Charleston and NDC will make up at least 75% of the offensive side of the ball for 1st and 2nd team. Haven't paid close enough attention to individuals from the rest of the conference, but here's how I see it for Concord:
Offense
QB Jack Mangel - 1st Team (OPOY if it isn't Bowie)
RB Thurlow Wilkins - 1st Team
WR Jarod Bowie - 1st team (OPOY if it isn't Mangel)
RB/WR Kris Copeland - 2nd team/HM (Would undoubtedly be first team if the MEC did an all-purpose position)
All 5 OL should be recognized (1st in conference rushing yards / attempt, 2nd in the conference in sacks allowed with almost 80 more pass attempts than leader GSU)
Defense
DE Dajor Davenport (1st/2nd team)
LB Ty Maust (1st Team)
DB Mike Sawyer (2nd team/HM)
DB Marcellus Saint (2nd team/HM)
Would be totally shocked if Dave Walker is not Coach of the year. The turnaround he has led at Concord has been remarkable.
