10-0 Post at halftime. Both defenses are playing well, but inopportune penalties have really hurt the Pioneer offense. The wind has also been a factor. It's picking up as the game goes on, and if the Owls can keep the score close through the third quarter, they will have the wind at their backs in the fourth.

Post's defense forced a short punt on SCSU's opening possession in the 3rd, and the pioneer offense scored with 11:21 left in the quarter. 17-0 Post.

17-0 Post at the end of the third. Although Post added 7 points in the 3rd, SCSU's offense controlled the ball for almost the entire period with two long drives. Unfortunately for the Owls, the first drive ended with a fumble at the Post 12, but the Pioneers couldn't take advantage, and the Owls are once again driving and they will now have the wind at their backs in the final quarter. With the wind at their backs in the 3rd quarter, the Pioneers were only able to run 9 plays and put 7 points on the board with a total TOP of less than 3 minutes in the quarter.

The Owls picked off Chris Laviano and scored another TD to make it 17-13. Unfortunately, the video feed from SCSU has stopped working at the most crucial point of the game.

Video feed is back. Post has a 4th and 6 at the SC 15. Since the Pioneers are going into a stiff wind, a Field Goal is an iffy proposition, so they're going to go for it.
Viviano completes a HUGE TD pass to Michael Richardson and Joey Tolgyesi converts the PAT. Unfortunately the video feed froze before the play. I'm now listening to the WCWP radio feed. On the ensuing kickoff, the Pioneers recovered and they have the ball with 2:12 remaining. After all that action, the video feed finally came back. Post runs out the clock with a hard-earned 24-13 win.
The Pioneers were lucky to get this win. They repeatedly shot themselves in the foot with untimely and undisciplined penalties (9 for 104 yards). If they don't exercise more discipline next week, they may not be holding the trophy at the end of the game.

Pace scores a late TD and holds off Merrimack 22-21. Pace clinches a winning record and could get to 7 wins at St. Anselm next week.

A very impressive victory for the chargers. UNH shut down St. A in the second half. St. Anselm had no answer for the chargers offense.
