Great finish & win for New Haven! The streaming of the game was terrible but glad I was able to watch the end. Great win boys!

Stupidity is like pornography...you know it when you see it. And I have seen stupidity.

It's Tuesday, and I'm still out of my mind with the Assumption decision and the subsequent loss. For you that lost the feed and may have tuned out I will give you the scenario and you make the call. New Haven calls it's second timeout with 2:04 left in the game they are down 5. Assumption has a 4th and 1 on their own 33 yard line. NE10 Title and possible NCAA chance on the line. What's your call?

I didn't see the play but all I'm guessing that Assumption's coach didn't want to put his defense back out there and he has the two running backs to get one yard. Like Belichick did with the Patriots when they were playing the Colts a while back. I think the Steelers were in a similar situation this past week and they got the first down and won the game.

I would have punted, make New Haven and their shaky offense take the longer field. Guessing a good punt would have forced New Haven to go 70 yards to score. Was Assumption going into a wind, were they worried about the punt going short?

The wind was at AC's back. Granted, the punter had two short kicks into the wind, but out of his 10 punts, 4 were downed inside the 20 and three others were fair caught. By the way, he was named the NE10 Special Teams Player of the week (for the 2nd time this year), which is just like ripping off my band-aide. The run they called (out of the shotgun) had been stuffed the other 10 times they tried run it. I think UNH was number one in rush defense, by a lot. P U N T.
