  • NE10 Week 11 Pick'Em

Well, 10 weeks of football and still nothing has been solved in the NE10. There is a four-way tie for first place, with Assumption, Bentley, New Haven, and Stonehill all 5-2 in the league. Of those four teams, New Haven and Stonehill play each other, while Assumption plays St. Anselm and Bentley plays AIC. If St. Anselm and AIC pull off upsets, the Stonehill-New Haven game would be the league championship game, but again, those upsets need to happen.

With no NE10 team in the top ten of the latest SR1 regional rankings, this NE10 season will end like the 2010 season, when New Haven won the NE10 league title in a tiebreaker but no NE10 teams qualified for the playoffs. That was the last season the NE10 failed to qualify for the playoffs. So, this looks like it will be the last week for the 2019 NE10 Pick'Em.

And now the recap from last week:
    1. Bentley beats Franklin Pierce 70-0 - Ravens have been outscored 133-0 the last two weeks. Bentley moves into a tie for first place.
    2. AIC beats St. Anselm 39-19 - A close game turned AIC's way behind a strong ground game.
    3. New Haven beats Assumption 34-33 - Christina Lupoli threw five touchdown passes as New Haven comes back late to beat Assumption.
    4. Stonehill beats Pace 34-22 - Skyhawks stay at the top of the NE10 with a solid win and another 300-yard game by Justin Felder.

The NE10 Pick'Em has two on top with 34 correct picks, and the regular season title is still up for grabs with three others close behind.

The standings for the NE10 Pick'Em are:
