How are they fitting in 3 non-conference games [Kutztown, GV St and 1 of the Bentley games]?
Kutztown - Assumption appears on the Kutztown schedule 9/5 in Wooster
Grand Valley - Assumption made the announcement they'd be going to Allendale on 10/17
Play Bentley a second time

New Haven has announced that they will visit Dartmouth on 9/19. Dartmouth tied Yale for the Ivy League title last year and had a 9-1 record.

Possibly, but it could be a while before New Haven announces the final schedule and if they get a game for 9/5. They traditionally take their time announcing schedules and rosters, but this announcement may be a change in direction under the new AD.

Nice pick up by New Haven to play Dartmouth. They are posting a lot of transfers on Twitter for the roster so they seem like they can compete with an FCS team.
New Haven should have 11 games. They have 8 league games, one OOC opening weekend, 1 NE-10 opponent as OOC and then 9/19 must be their bye week and they filled it with Dartmouth.
Assumption is doing the same thing as Grand Valley is their NE-10 bye week and they filled it with a game.
It is tougher in October and November to fill those bye weeks as the rest of those teams are in the middle of their own conference schedule.

It would seem to make too much sense to have the SR1 conferences with 8 or 9 teams to set up some alliances to fill out their schedules. The PSAC and NE10 have matched up pretty well for the opening week. The GLIAC, GMAC and NE10 should pick a week, mid season to start scheduling something. Once UNH bolts for the FCS, (Dartmouth game looks the first move in that direction), it will be tough to even schedule 9 games without some outside help.
