Friday had another crazy finish with SCSU winning at the buzzer. What will Saturday have?

Bowie leads New Haven 6-0 at the half. Only score on a Bowie fumble recovery in the end zone for a TD. Both teams have missed makeable field goals and Bowie missed their extra point try. Defense and mistakes all over.

Bowie's offense hasn't gotten in the end zone, but their defense has twice. Bowie leads New Haven 14-7 in the third.

Bowie now up 21-7. New Haven's offense had a good drive to go up 7-6, but Bowie's defense has taken over and has caused 3 turnovers, with the last one being an deflected interception deep in New Haven territory. Bowie scored two plays later. Receivers are not getting open and Degenhardt is holding the ball way too long, resulting in bad things happening. Bowie has talent on offense, but their defense is way ahead of them, at least today.

I will also add that New Haven's defense is way ahead of its offense too.

New Haven really struggled against Bowie's front four. And Degenhardt took too many shots too.

AU holds off Pace in a war of attrition. Both starting QBs get knocked out with ankle injuries.

The Bentley video feed is getting loaded more than I am.

Halftime AIC leads Franklin Pierce 21-13. AIC D is having some trouble with Pierce TE. Offense is rolling right now.

Final. AIC wins! 38-19. AIC defense slowed down Pierce in the second half. AIC offense have been moving the ball well these past games. Good win and momentum going into next week. We got Bentley!

It was frustrating to watch the game. New Haven offense was nowhere to be found all game long and with too many costly mistakes. Defense was trying to do its best against the 24th ranked team in the country. Bowie is a good team and the better team won. Southern Connecticut is up next and hopefully UNH will fix those issues.
