  • NE10 Pick'Em Final Recap

With that, the regular season is over and the Pick'Em has concluded. Now, the NE10 isn't finished just yet, as New Haven and Bentley will likely see playoff games in their future for at least this coming week.

    Week 11 Results

    AIC beat Pace 14-7
    Bentley beat Assumption 48-23
Stonehill beat Southern CT State 42-6
New Haven beat Franklin Pierce 34-20

    Pick'Em Standings

    Yellowjacketalum - 3, 34 total
    NE10Fan - 0, 27 total
    Paul Falewicz - 3, 37 total
    cwfenn - 4, 39 total
    ctrabs74 - 0, 36 total
    ek327 - 2, 34 total
    NewHaven Alum - 3, 36 total

OK, so I won the Pick'Em...let the conspiracy theories begin.

This concludes the NE10 Pick'Em, hopefully one or more NE10 teams will make long playoff runs.

Congrats cwfenn. Hopefully our Chargers will go deep into the post season. As it stands right now, we might see Bentley again at home in the first round if everyone stays the same in the final RR.

Congrats, Mr, Fenn. Since you picked New Haven each week and I didn't, that is the difference between winning and losing.

Some people are going to demand a recount and let's hope that some of the write-in votes are counted.

Thanks for keeping the dialogue up all season. Its a shame the UNH-BU rematch had to take place in the first round. Should be a good gane.

Well, this should be interesting because many posters on this forum thought that the committee might try to prevent Bentley and New Haven in the first round of the NCAA playoffs. You are correct that two NE10 teams are battling it out instead of playing two other teams in the region. Regardless, we know for sure that there is a NE10 team will be in the second round and that means Paul will have to write at-least two more blogs. Go Chargers!!!!

BTW, is there such thing as playoffs Pick'Em Mr. Fenn?

There was no way they were going to leave open the chance that 2 NE10 teams could both make it to the second round.

They needed to make up for having to eliminate Cal U by earned access.
