New Haven escaped with the win Friday night. Bentley was going to score before the Chargers forced the fumble and scored. The offense couldn't do anything. The wind was whipping most of the night but both teams faced that.

Congrats to Franklin Pierce on their 1st D2 victory. It was a solid victory on the road.

Assumption is running under the radar right now but plays Bentley and New Haven in October so we will see if they are capable of taking the league.

St A also didn't deserve to win after throwing 4 picks. But the D made a play late and then a great diving TD catch to win the game. They are undefeated and will have a huge test against New Haven next weekend.

Both SCSU and AIC are 0-4 right now. It is entirely possible that they each lose the next 4 weeks and they played each other on October 29th. AIC has a bye this week but SCSU doesn't have a bye this year.

St. A played against teams with no wins so far and this weekend game against New Haven will be their first test of the season. As far as New Haven is concerned, they were lucky to get out of Waltham with a victory even it was an ugly win. There was no offense for both teams and if the Chargers want to go any further than the NE10, they need to step up on both sides of the ball. The last time New Haven played at St. A, they walked away from Manchester as looser.

Agreed about New Haven. Offense too predictable at times and the QB rarely gets the ball out quick.

SoCo looks better than AIC right now. Guarantee they beat us in Springfield. AIC will not win a game this year! I remember when these two teams were battling for the league. Damn, what happened?

New Haven defense is also unpredictable and last year was their strongest unit. Offense has been ok since the passing game has been terrible.

Missed this week while at Hartwick watching some DIII action vs Nichols. Good game, 28-20 Hawks
