With this news the NE10 is now 9. Does the conference look to pick up another member? Plus historically the NE10 produced the D1 Northeast schools so another hit could be made to the conference.

Well, there's nothing that they can do anything about it, they are not only loosing teams moving up to D1 but now loosing a team down to D3. However, there are a few teams in the Northeast that could join the conference with Monroe seems to be next.

I thought Monroe was going to the CACC for most sports and the NE-10 for football once they move through the D2 process...

Monroe is going to be part of the CACC, but since we are talking football in the forum, it seems logically Monroe is going to be part of the NE10 for football. As far as Utica is concerned, well it's still a rumor like you said, nothing concrete as of now.

A few years back I wouldn't of been surprised. They have been competitive on the field for a few years now. Another program bites the dust in the NE10
