Seton Hill ... seat should be ON FIRE and not just hot.

Private schools use sports to boost enrollment of male students, lower income kids, and minority kids. It looks good and makes them feel good about themselves. Winning is secondary to all of that as long as the program doesn't bring bad press. Gannon and Mercyhurst don't get negative press in Erie so their coaches are safe. Probably the same for Seton Hill.

Almost nothing. It might get mentioned in the article or news highlights but nothing with weight. Mercyhurst had a president resign because he molested boys and they didn't remove his name from campus until this year after the PA church abuse report came out. And nobody gave them crap for that either.

Google "Gannon football fight" and you get articles about the 2016 game against Edinboro...probably because it involved Edinboro. The Erie media treats Edinboro the same way the Pittsburgh media treats IUP and Cal. This fight was one Boro player and one Gannon player.

A couple mentions of the Gannon coaches who got into a fight with a former player.

No stories about the IUP brawl. Just mentions of the PSAC sanctions.

Certainly not at Pitt, Carnegie Mellon, or Duquesne - very expensive.. Good education, but very pricey.

RMU is more expensive than PASSHE, but not too far off.

Chatham, Point Park, Carlow, and La Roche - why would anyone go there (minus Point Park with Dance and Broadcasting)?

A State school offers a good education for a great price. Cannot beat it in this area.
