If 3 PSAC East teams are between #2-#7 then wouldn't the non-PSAC East teams each play a PSAC East team to avoid replays of games? Do they care about that? Just wondering.

Or, does an out of region team come into SR1?

      • Kutztown lost at home to SRU.

ND lost to a tomato can at home.

IUP lost at SRU by a FG.

The PSAC should have the Top 3 seeds.

        They won't, but ...

IUP has a case for the No. 2 seed.

It won't happen but they have a case for it.

Well...Slimey gets next week off...so IUP would wind up playing an East team.

I say it's this because the committee is lazy, has no guts and will never do the right thing...

          1. Slimey Pebble
          2. Kutztown
          3. Fake Notre Dame
          4. IUP
          5. Shepherd
          6. Tiffin
          7. West Chester.

They are going to send WCU up to Kutztown.
          Shepherd is going to Indiana
Tiffin will stay in Ohio and play Fake Notre Dame.

They don't want anyone to travel far....because that's the focus...traveling.

Per the NCAA's new Bracketing Initiative, Priority #3 for the NCAA is to avoid having regular season re-matches in the opening week of the playoffs. The first two Priorities involve mitigating the chance of having to pay for flights in the first round (#1) and/or the second round (#2). With that being the case, here is what I envision (I agree with the 7 teams above) ... NCAA Division II Football Bracketing Initiative

            1. Slippery Rock
            2. Kutztown
            3. Notre Dame or IUP
            4. IUP or Notre Dame

The next three teams are "unseeded" per the initiative.

Tiffin at Kutztown (avoids a PSAC East rematch)
Shepherd at IUP or Notre Dame
West Chester at IUP or Notre Dame

            • The 7 teams are set. Franze's post is spot on. Now we wait... This is a strong field. Rock v. Kutztown was an instant classic, a back and forth battle with a comeback victory at the end. There's 3-4 legit HH candidates in this group of 7.

Kutztown lost by 2 to SRU;(Bears led for most of the game)
???? IUP lost by 3 and were 9 seconds from losing by double digits. (IUP never led)
IUP has NO case for a 2 seed

Bears lost at home, right? IUP lost on the road, right?

Yep. If you aren't the bye ... It doesn't really matter. Nobody is getting an easy game. The seeding can impact Round 2 but that's not even worth discussing. One game at a time.

Yep. And IUP was down 31-7 late in the second quarter against THE ROCK. Right??
Again NO case for 2 seed, now being a 3 seed over Notre Dame is a different argument

Does the final score count or the halftime score?

                          Home and away does count.

You are putting a lot of credence in that score with 9 seconds left to get within 3 points. That game was a two score or more for the majority of the game.
Kutztown had a two score lead for the majority of the second half.

The eye test trump's scores and home/away. ( Being reasonable and objective may help as well)

Is there an eye test score in the matrix? Or a halftime score category?

I'm just messing with you. 2-4 ... Whatever. Tough game regardless. Of the 5-7 teams they are all equally good. Not an easy game in Round 1 this year.

                              • IUP will stay at No. 4 despite ND having an embarrassing home loss.

No way the committee gives the PSAC the top 3 seeds (although that's the reality).
